My partner gave this cooking class to me as a gift. While I was a bit suspect at first, we had a fantastic afternoon playing in the kitchen, while learning all sorts of useful skills like measuring, chopping, mixing, preparing and heating, that we'll use over and over again. We finished it off with a few glasses of wine while we enjoyed the delicious food that we made together with Zigi. The cooking class given by ZCC was truly an eye-opener. We tried a vast range of different dishes, so much that we couldn't have hoped to eat all the results! We learned all about how to select ingredients for, prepare and cook our chosen dishes, and then we got to eat it as well. We were even given a DVD of the event, so we did not have to take notes. A great 'team-building' exercise, and great fun too. The meal was an experience not to be missed. It went down extremely well with our guests, and was a memorable event for us all. I made a decision that this year was the year to propose to my girlfriend of 8 years and make it official. We all found the food, instruction and service to be amazing – and have used a few tips already (like the oiled onion to clean and oil the griddle) I can't wait for Greg and Joe to cook us a full meal. Grace too was very excited to learn how to cook a steak properly – she has a passion for her steak! And the kids both learned to love a new food – Grace has never been fond of prawns but loved the marinade so much that she is a convert, and Joe couldn't face couscous for years after eating nothing but couscous for 8 days on a school camp but I'm happy to say they are now reacquainted and getting on famously! I was truly delighted that the evening turned out the way it did – it hit all the right notes and achieved exactly what it was intended to – lots of learning, lots of delicious food and lots of fun! Hi Zigy, I really enjoyed the 2 classes I attended recently, ABC of Cooking and Cook to Impress, it's given me confidence to create more interesting meals for my family, I learnt a lot in both classes, although still can't get the hang of that big knife, will have to keep practicing. You mentioned about sending some recipes out by email, would love to receive them then I can really start to cook. Hi Zigi We had a great time for my friend's hen's night - there were lots of laughs (especially with the cheeky games), delicious food and we even learnt a thing or two in the kitchen!
