  • Mending Workshop
    Tuesday, February 15, 2022
    6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Do you have that piece of clothing which you dearly love, but you know it’s seen better days? Do you wish you had the sewing skills to stitch it back to life?
Angela White has worked behind the scenes on many fast-paced TV and musical theatre shows and she’s a master in this field.

In this workshop, Bronnie can equip you with some simple skills to have you up-cycling and reworking your beloved, broken garments, so you can get them out of the cupboard and enjoy wearing them again.

Things you’ll learn:

  • TWO ways to hand stitch a button
  • The magic method of hand stitching an invisible hem

What To Bring:
Your most beloved, broken, wardrobe treasure!
Any trims, buttons or trinkets which may inspire your upcycling creation!

Towards the end of the session, Bronnie will take a look at your favourite garments, advise and/or demonstrate ways to fix, upcycle or customise your pieces, and get them functional and looking fabulous again!
