Chef Zigi Ozeri is the Head Chef of his own restaurant in Chippendale, Zigi’s Art Wine Cheese Bar, which has become famous for its Ausraeli food, a unique mix of Israeli and Australian cuisines.
About the Chef:Mr. Ozeri has over ten years of experience in the food service industry. He has worked as the head chef of various cafes and restaurants around Sydney, as an executive Sous chef in IHG group (intercontinental hotel group) and Swiss hotel in Sydney, and he has run a fine dining restaurant within the Stamford hotels group. Zigi is an award-winning chef who participated in various cooking competitions around Sydney (e.g. Sydney Culinary Challenge) and who has been for the past 4 years an active director and a webmaster of the Australian culinary federation of NSW. Zigi is a part time teacher at Ultimo TAFE and conducts cooking workshops through eastern suburbs community college and Sydney community college. Finally, for the past 3 years, he has worked as a NSW State manager for Nestle Golden Chef Hat competitions and as a culinary judge and mentor, who provided training to various competitions winners.
